Russia supplied almost 13 billion cubic meters of gas to Turkey in the first half of 2022. This was announced to journalists by presidential aide Yuri Ushakov at a briefing on the eve of Vladimir Putin’s visit to Tehran.
“Work is underway as usual within the framework of joint strategic projects. The Blue Stream and Turkish Stream gas pipelines delivered 12.8 billion cubic meters of gas to Turkey this year (7.1 and 5.7 billion cubic meters, respectively )”, – he said.
According to Gazprom’s reports, for 6 months of 2021, Russian gas supplies to Turkey amounted to 14.623 billion cubic meters of gas, for 6 months of 2020 – 4.733 billion cubic meters.
